How to set up a new event:

  1. Click the Calendar menu.
  2. Click the Add an Event button.
  3. Enter the title of the event in the Event field.
  4. Select the event Date(s) using the calendar. For multi-day events, use the To calendar to enter the end date..
  5. Select the Start Time from the drop-down list.
  6. Select the End Time from the drop-down list.
  7. Select an Event Color. All events default to a standard color. 
  8. Select one or multiple Ensembles/groups.
  9. Select the Type of event from the drop-down list.
  10. If you need to create a new event type, click on the Add/Manage Event Types button to add it. (See Add/Manage Event Types)
  11. Enter the event Location.
  12. Enter the Address, City, State and Postal Code.
  13. Optional: enter the Cost of the event if applicable.
  14. Enter the Contact Name.
  15. Enter the Contact Phone number.
  16. Enter the Contact Email.
  17. Enter a Description of the event to give prospective attendees and volunteers more information about it.
  18. Click the RSVP Required checkbox if you need a head count and want people to reserve their place for this event.
  19. Enter the cutoff date for reservations in the RSVP Date field.
  20. Check the Travel Details checkbox if you want attendees to be able to include their travel plans.
  21. Check the Volunteers checkbox if you need people to help with your event. Complete the Volunteer request process after the event has been created.
  22. Click the Save button.
